When workplace mistreatment lasts, it doesn't stay at work — it follows targets home, into their sleep, their relationships, and their long-run mental and physical health. My wellbeing research investigates the longitudinal trajectories of incivility, bullying, and abusive supervision targets, with attention to how socio-emotional resources buffer some outcomes while leaving others unprotected. Recent work asks what institutions can do, structurally, to mitigate harm even when individual incidents persist.
